Aluminum pans do not require a kosher symbol to be used, as they don’t contain any non-kosher ingredients. Some pans include a symbol to certify that they don’t require tevila. There is controversy among the poskim about whether aluminum pans that are thrown out after one or two uses need to be toveled. The poskim in the USA generally say that they do not need tevila, because they are meant to be thrown out and aren’t considered real “vessels.” In Eretz Yisroel, some poskim rule that they do need tevila. Sometimes one will find a symbol of Badatz on the bottom of an aluminum pan to certify that this pan doesn’t need tevila even according to the stricter view.
