Hi.......I found a product (Vevor Insulated Beverage Dispenser) which is plastic and non-electric. It can be used to keep water hot or cold from 12-17 hours respectively. I wanted to use it to put in boiling water before Shabbat. The dispenser keeps it hot by "a 0.9 inch foam layer sandwiched between LDPE (a type of plastic) interior and exterior" I do not intend to add any water over Shabbat, but wanted to clarify if there is a hatmana problem for the boiling water put in before. It is permitted to use the thermos, and it is not considered hatmana. One of the conditions of hatmana is that the hot food is in a kli rishon, and not if it was already transferred to another vessel. Therefore insulating in a thermos bottle is not considered hatmana, and permitted.

in this case that the water is put in before shabbas why is it not muttar also because its not mosif hevel just maintains the heat so its anyway permitted even if it would not be a thermos thank you?
