I recently ordered a few items from Walmart, one of which came of a different variation. When I contacted Walmart customer service, I was told I would be refunded. Upon checking, I saw a refund for the wrong item, which was priced differently from the one I was supposed to be refunded for. I contacted them again and tried to explain what happened. They responded that they would reverse the refund and process the correct one, but I received no notification or alert for this, as I normally would when something is changed or being processed. I don't think they will reverse the refund, especially since I already see it back on my Walmart gift card.
- Should I not use that money since I intend to keep the product and it was only accidentally refunded? Is it considered stealing? What should I do, since it's a little hard to ensure I never use that exact amount from the total balance?
- The refunded amount was less than the correct item's refund amount. Is it better to return the correct item and keep the refunded amount for the other item, receiving less than the correct item's worth?

My understanding of your question is that Walmart refunded you for a product that was cheaper than the one you wanted to be refunded. My assumption is that they did not ask you to return the product. Regarding your questions;
- The money they sent you for the wrong return may be used, especially if you aren’t asking for the more expensive refund. Bottom line, they owe you an even bigger refund.
