Is it permissible to have a kiddish in your home for a son’s aufruf on Rosh Chodesh Av? And Shabbos meals for family of the chosson and kallah?
It is permitted to make the aufruf and the meals together, even though it is the day before Tisha B’av. The family may be invited to partake in the meal however the meal should have an abundance of different dishes, and extra guest just to add to the festivity.
Regarding Shalosh Suedos, you should remember though that we have to stop eating shalosh seudos before shkiya (sunset). Additionally, the atmosphere during that meal should not be a frivolous one, as it is right before Tisha B’av.
