We say in Tefillas Maariv
“בוקע ים לפני משה”
Why does it say “lifnei Moshe” wasn’t it lifnei all of Klal Yisrael?
Answer:
It was in front of all of Israel, but Moshe was specifically the one who raised him hand upon the sea, so that it is certainly true that it was before Moshe.
