Question:
Recently a new type of light bulb, called ShaBBulb, has netted the market. The bulb is LED and has a cover which can be moved like lever on Shabbos. It carries the halakhos of a number of prominent poskim. My question is as follows, would there be an issue if the lightbulb is put into a lamp with a shade and there might be chance that the shade will be touched, would one have to avoid using such a type of lamp in such a circumstance?
Answer:
There is no problem in touching muktzah only moving it, so if there is fear of movement should not be a problem
