I recently gave my computer to a technician for repairs. He had to reinstall Windows. He also reinstalled Microsoft Office for me. The problem is that I own a copy of Office 2000 and he installed Office 2007. Do I have to uninstall this program (he did not sell me a copy, he just installed it) and reintall the version that I own?

Under the circumstances, I would uninstall the program and reinstall the one you own.
Although some are lenient for using cracked programs, in this case you actually own a program, so that you don’t need to rely on the leniency, and can simply install the program you own.
