May one take out bad smelling garbage on shabbos if there is an eruv or is this considered unecessary tiltul of muktza?
Answer:
It is permitted to throw out the garbage if its bad smell causes discomfort (for instance, if there are used diapers inside, and so on). This is considered a geraf shel re’i, to which the prohibition of muktzeh does not apply.
Of course, this applies only where there is an eiruv.
