Hi,
I owe my landlord a past due rent, and they are kind about it due to their knowledge of our unfortunate financial situation. Can I give them items I sell at cost price as a favor or is that Ribbis. I would not offer them the significant discount if not for the fact that I owe them money.

Being that you are giving him the discount because of the loan it would be considered ribbis. The fact that you are not giving him actual cash will not permit it, because ribbis includes any favor that is done because of the loan, therefore it wouldn’t be different than any other favor which is not permitted as a result of the loan.
