May I listen to music for the purpose of learning? For example, a math or president song to remember it better. Thank you
Answer:
If the reason for listening to the music is not for enjoyment purposes then it is permitted. This would be similar to listening to music in order to help one do exercise, or when someone is learning to play a musical instrument, that the poskim say that it is permitted.
