Rabbi, can one look in a store with Christmas decorations as long as I do not buy anything? And can I take pics in front of a decorated tree?
Answer:
It is permitted to buy in such a store, because looking or even buying does not mean that you are condoning the decorations. On the other hand taking a picture in front of such a tree is some thing that a Jew should not do, because we should not be associating ourselves with a Catholic holiday.
