If someone passed away on a leap yar, is their yahrzeit 12 months after or exactly the same date a year later?
Answer:
The yahrzeit depends on the date, and not on a 12 month period. If somebody died, for instance, on Adar I of a leap year, the yahrzeit will be in Adar of the next year, and not in Shevat.
