Is it correct according to halacha to sign up for a credit card in order to get their introductory bonus reward/mileage if your intention is to cancel it after getting the reward.

This would not be correct practice according to halahcha.
There is no doubt that the company does not mean to give out bonus rewards to people who have no intention of even trying out the card, and doing so is in effect “swindling” the company.
Even if the company is not of Jewish ownership, it remains forbidden to “swindle” on a lechatchilah level, as we have explained here.
