How does Jewish law relate to not paying for something due to an emergency?
Answer:
In general, when a service or item is being offered for money, and somebody receives it, an “emergency situation” will not exempt from payment.
If a person has no money, he won’t be able to pay – but whenever he obtains funds he will have to pay for what he received.
For some exceptions to the rule (rare) please see here.
Best wishes.
