If I’m traveling somewhere I’m on the way in a car and I don’t have water and I have hamotzei bread. What’s the halacha
Answer:
If within 72 minutes of the direction you are travelling there is water to wash with you are obligated to wait for the water. If the water is 18 minutes even out of your way, the same is true.
If this is not the case [unlikely], you can eat without washing by covering your hands so as not to touch the bread.
