I was using a cheap pen that was provided for staff members to use at the place that I work. I ended up losing the pen. Do I need to replace this with a new pen? I think that if I would inform them that I lost the pen, they would tell me that I do not need to replace it, but am I allowed to make this assumption? If I need to replace it, must I buy the same type of pen, or does it not matter what type of pen it is?
I think that it is safe to assume that the business knows that cheap pens are going to get lost, and therefore they are mochel it, (unless you have specific reason to assume otherwise in your instance) therefore you don’t have to replace it.
