Can counter tops be cleaned for Pesach with white distilled vinegar that is OU but not OU-P?
Answer:
One of the issues regarding white distilled vinegar is that it might be made from malt which is chometz, or if it was made from yeast or enzymes that are made from chometz (see CRC Passover Guide pg. 20). Therefore if the vinegar is not kosher for Passover it should not be used at all, and should be sold with your chometz.
