Some days ago noticed that a insurance company which days before deposited a smaller amount after medical expenses,deposited more money.
I did not receive any communication about this second deposit.
Do I have to inform the company about that,or may I “wait and see”?
Answer:
With he assumption that the insurance company is not a Jewish company, you can take on a wait and see approach, however if and when they ask for the money back you should return it to them. If you want to make a kiddush H-shem and let the company know that you are Jewish and don’t want to take any money that is not coming to you… and offer to retunr the money, that would be a kiddush H-shem, but you are not obligated to do so.
