What are the laws for Grape leaves, purchasing fresh not jarred? Do the same rules apply as do for grapes?

Fresh grape leaves can be highly infested and according to a number of authorities[1] are not recommended to eat. Aside from this, they must be checked and any infestation has to be dealt with. (personally, I don’t know how to do this).
The bracha on cooked grape leaves would be shehakol[2], since grape vines are not planted with the intention that he leaves should be eaten. I don’t think they are ever eaten raw.
Grape leaves do not[3] have an issue with orlah, or maasros as long as they grape vines are not planted for their leaves.
