1) Is it okay for an ashkenazi to take Tums on Pesach to help manage heart burn? In general, is it ok to take Tums on Shabbos?
2) Funny question, but is there any kashrus problem with washing my Pesach towels/oven mitts/table cloths/etc in the washing machine since I usually wash chametz dish towels/etc in it?
Answer:
- There are some flavors that are kosher for Pesach, make sure to get them beforehand.
- There is no problem with washing your Pesach dishes, and tablecloths in the same washing machine that you washed dish towels. The water in the ashing machine has ditergent, and any “taste that came out of the dishes, was not edible, the taste is also not a ben yomo, and it is botil.
