When do you deliver Mishloach Manot?
Mishloach Manot are delivered on the day of Purim, meaning the 14th or Adar in a non-walled city, and the 15th of Adar in cities that were walled in the days of Joshua. They should be delivered in the day and not in the night.
On the occasion of Purim Meshulach (in walled cities, where the 15th falls on Shabbat), Mishloach Manos are delived on the 16th of Adar, which is the day on which the Purim feast is held.
The idea of Mishloach Manos is tied to the Purim festivities, and it is best to give foods that can be eaten as part of the meal.
