Hallel on Purim

Do you say Hallel on Purim?

Answer:

Hallel is not recited on Purim. The Gemara writes that the reason for this is that we do not recite Hallel for a miracle that took place outside Israel. Alternatively, the reading of the Megillah is considered a Hallel in itself. A third reason is that the redemption was not complete, and we remain “in the service of Achashverosh.”

Best wishes.
