Question:
If one goes to a wedding with in mind not to bentch with a “mezuman”, ( in order to leave whenever he wants without needing to wait for a zimun), may he make or join a zimun if opportunity occurs?
Answer:
If one had in mind not to join in he can only rejoin to two others who are benching with the same conditions as a stranger who suddenly turns up and wants to join in.
