MY CEMETERY GROUNDS HAS ROUGHLY 6 ACRES, ROUGHLY 3 BEING USED. NOW THEY WANT TO SELL OR LEASE THE 3 REMAINING NOT BEING USED. WHAT IS THE LAW ON THIS?

Provided that there are not graves situated in the area not being used, there is no problem in selling the area.
Sources: Many authorities write with great stringency concerning selling a graveyard when this would mean the relocation of graves. However, if there are no graves in the area, yet the area has been set aside as a cemetery, there is no prohibition in selling it. See, for instance, Daas Cohen 203.
