Could you explain the last Rashi in perek hazorek of mesechta Gittin. I have been having a hard time finding somebody who understood what it is trying to say.
Who is saying/writing this line is this not Rashi?

I don’t see a particular difficulty in the Rashi, and there is no reason to think that Rashi did no write it.
Rashi is saying that the way in which he explained the sugya does not match the interpretation he received from his own mentors, which is the interpretation written in the writings (the booklet, kuntress) of his elder teacher.
