Aveilus for Siblings

In terms of dinei aveilus and a sibiling is there anything different if the person nifter was for example a “half-brother” (same mother OR same father — al col panim only one same parent.)

Answer:

In Torah law, the laws of aveilus apply only to siblings from a common father, and not to siblings from a common mother. However, rabbinically the halachos of aveilus apply even to siblings through a common mother.

See Rambam, laws of aveilus 2:1.
