I often have to fill in forms for my company which take a long time to do so. Recently I filled in a parking form while waiting for my new car to arrive, the only detail left to fill in is the registration of the car ,
On the date line I put tomorrow’s date and will only hand in the form tomorrow when I have the car details
Is it permissible to do this with forms in general when they won’t be handed in until necessary but will be signed a day or two before
Answer:
It is permitted, because the company doesn't care and it is the date that it was handed in, so as far as the company is concerned, this is the correct date.
