men body hair removal

Question:

Hello,
I am a very hairy person and I know that my body hair bothers my wife in a substantial way.
I have heard that removing body hair is a problem of לא תלבש,
To my understanding, nowadays it’s very common for men to remove body hair. Shouldn’t that mean that it is no longer לא תלבש, being it is no longer a “womanly” thing to do?

Furthermore what about the parts of the body which women don’t normally (need to) remove hair from, such as the chest, shoulders and back, That is something that isn’t normal for women to do (in fact it’s something normal for men to do).
So is it allowed nowadays?

Secondly if it is allowed does the method make any difference?
Trimming/shaving/waxing/laser/cream/plucking?

Thank you so much for your service in serving Klal Yisroel.

Answer:

Hello,

Indeed it is allowed. There is no difference how you remove the hair.

I apologize for the delay.

All the best
