Regarding men and women not wearing clothing and shoes for the opposite gender: There is a pair of women’s sneakers (they are noted for women with women’s sizing), however they have similar design details to the mens styles from that brand. Would it be ok to wear this item as it could perhaps be considered like an item that both men and women wear? (like a jacket or sweater…)

Answer:
If the sneakers for men and women look the same, even though it was made officially for women it is not an issue of lo tilbash (wear clothing of the opposite gender). The reason is because the two look the same and it is not making the person look like he is dressing womanly, since both styles are the same.
