Drying hands before washing them

Question:

Hi after touching shoes or scratching hair or for morning Nega’al Vaser, etc can I wash Nagel Vassar while my hands are already wet, or do I need to dry them first?

Answer:

Hi,

There is no problem with washing your hands negel vasser or after scratching your head or after the bathroom when they are wet. The idea of that hands being dry only applies when washing your hands for a bread meal. The reason is because washing hands for bread involves a certain type of tuma that can make the water tameh when washing it. However this does not apply to washing hands in the morning or after the bathroom etc.

Best wishes
