Shabbos Clothes to Weekday Clothes

Question:

Is it ok to turn, what was a certain piece of clothing or Kipa or Tzitzis that was designated as for Shabbos only, it into a weekday garment.
Is there any difference if the garment became not-Shabbosdik (torn, stained, old) or if you simply want to update your weekday wardrobe?

Hello,

It is permitted to “downgrade” a garment from being a Shabbos one to a weekday one. We only say “maalin b’kodesh” to something that has kedusha, however articles of clothing are not kadosh, even if we are using their niceness for the kavod of Shabbos. Therefore, they can be switched from Shabbos clothing into weekday clothing.
