May someone shave on Chol Hamoed, if he has quite bad face acne and dry skin under his beard and needs to put cream directly on that skin?

it is a bit hard for me to understand tht the cream can’t be applied to the skin with only a few days of beard growth, however if indeed this is what has to be done, and you can’t apply the cream otherwise then it is permitted to shave that part of the skin in order to apply the cream. A more serious issue is the rest of your face, which is not needed for a medical reason. If shaving only the parts that have the acne will cause serious embarrassment, then it will be permitted to shave the other parts also. However, I can’t say this for certain as I don’t know your situation.
