I need to take pills this taanis, since I have a bad infection. I personally need to take with applesauce in order to swallow. DO I still fast afterward, or does the fact that I am taking the pills (3 times), consider I broke the fast? If so is there a din Tashlumin? i
Answer:
It is permitted to take the pills, and you should use a small amount of water if this is possible. If you need applesauce, you can also use it (try to use as small an amount as possible).
You should continue to fast apart from these three times.

These Poskim rule that for medications, there is no need to spoil the taste of the water before drinking it.
Swallowing a small amount of liquid for the purpose of swallowing the pill will not invalidate the fast.
