We use a special blender to provide food for a family member with a feeding tube. There is a formula alternative, but the blended food works better. The problem is we’ve used it in the past with chometz, and we tend to use the blender to store the food after blending it, for several days. Moreover, it cannot be kashered, because it is plastic. Can it be used over Pesach? Thank you and have a chag kasher v’sameach.

Yes, you can use the feeding blender for the feeding tube.

Use of a feeding tube is not considered actual “eating,” and therefore use of a chametz blender is not a problem.

You can also kasher it with boiling water, which works according to some opinions.

Sorry for the brief answer, but it’s almost Yom Tov here.

Best wishes and Chag Kasher VeSameach.
