Is it permissible to go to a movie teather during Omer?
The movies has background music.
Answer:
Without getting into the question of attending movies in general, it would seem that the Omer does not add any additional prohibition to seeing a movie.
Sources:
There are different opinions about non live music during the Omer and while many are stringent, in this case where it is only background music, this would not be considered listening to music during the Omer.
