If the local city ordinances or laws prohibits signs being put up in a certain area may a person (who is not the one who put up the sign) remove them?

Although he might not be doing anything halachicly wrong but why does he have to be the one to remove them, why does it bother him?

  1. Let’s just say that the person who is advertising their services is not such a “kosher” individual. Perhaps this then makes it not only halachically permissible but also a mitzvah to some extent?

    • Correct.
