Can I copy a CD that I bought onto my mp3 or would this be an issur of hasagas gevul? Would it make a difference if I threw the CD out afterwards so that I only have 1 copy of the songs?
Answer:
It is permitted, because you are not taking away anything from the singer. You bought it and it is understood that a copy will be made to your mp3
