Question:
I received some unsolicited presents of chocolate and wine from gentile business contact.
I cannot use any of it. Can I give it to a gentile business associate of mine ?
Answer:
Yes you can give it to a gentile, because the gentile has no problem eating it, and if it given to a business accosiate it isn’t considered giving a free present.
Best wishes
What I was concerned with having a benefit from non kosher items - inadvertently received - by being able to pass them on.
We are allowed to benefit from most non kosher items, as long we don't do business with it, and getting a present and giving it away would not be considered doing business with non kosher food.
