Question: I remember yeshivah said We couldn’t use a kippah without two screens. is there a law against using a kipah without two screens on it?
Answer:
My apologies but I am not aware of any halacha that states that a kippa has to have two layers. As long as it covers the head it is alright, even if it is only one layer
