Question:
I was ready to do a hefsek on April 8 but failed to do so due to sitting shiva I further did not do any bedikas but I did wear white panties
Now I want to go to Mikva what is my obligation to be able to go.
Answer:
Hamakom yenachem eschem b’toch shar aveilei tzion v’Yerushalayim.
In order to start the process of tahara there must be a hefsek tahara, meaning that you have to have done an actual bedika, therefore in order to go to the mikva you have to do a hefsek tahara and then the regular bedikos, and then you can go.
Times are difficult now, and when we keep the mitzvos, even though it is very difficult it is a tremendous zechus for yourself, you family and all of Klal Yisroel. Additionally it is a big zechus that you should have children that will have a neshoma tehora, and grow up to be a yiras shomayim and a talmidei chachamim.
May H-shem comfort you together with all of Klal Yisroel in these difficult times, and the zechus of your mitzvos together with everyone’s tefillos should bring a yeshua to Klal Yisroel.
