Yom Tov Questions

Question:

1. Does tchum apply on Yom Tov,?
2. If on Yom Tov someone makes themself an omelette (completely kosher for pesach) but turned on the flame, am I allowed to eat it?

Answer:

1. Techumin does apply on Yom Tov the same way it applies on Shabbos.
2. B'ieved if it was alreay done, it is permitted to eat.
