Potential meat contact with dairy dishes

Question:

My daughter went into the cupboard with our dairy dishes after she had eaten meat. She would have eaten the meat, and used her hands, a few hours earlier. It is not clear to me if she had meat residue on her hands. She claims to have only retrieved a paper plate from inside, but I’m unsure if she touched anything else. Do I need to wash the dishes in there before using them for dairy?

Answer:

Hello,

There is no need for you to wash the dishes at all. Even if your daughter’s hands were greasy when she ate the meat, they got wiped off very well in the few hours between eating and when she touched the dishes.

Best wishes
