I was using a dairy spatula to cook dairy food on the stove (so I imagine the spatula was hot) and it fell from the stove to the shelf where I keep my baking sheets. From my angle I couldn’t tell if the spatula was touching the meat baking sheet. It looked very close to it, but not necessarily touching, and I wasn’t able to see either way before I removed the spatula. Is the meat baking sheet now treif? Thanks!

It is hard to know, since you don’t even know what happened. It is best just to pour boiling water over the part where the spatula fell.
