I have stainless steel sinks. I noticed that they have little tiny spots of rust. Are these of concern when I kasher my sinks for Pesach? How do I get rid of them?

Hello,
The spots should be scraped off before kashering the sink, because of the chance that there might be some chometz under the rust. If, however the spots are no longer a mass of rust, but are only a remaining discoloration of the metal, that doesn’t have to be removed.
