Someone who has a glass vase that's always used for putting in flowers, now they want to use it for putting in fruits or other foods one time. Does it need tevillah?
Answer:
If the vase is suitable for use as a container for fruits, then even for a one-time use it has to be toveled before the use (Rema 120:8).
See also Minchas Shlomo, who is lenient under extenuating circumstances, where it is not possible to tovel the vessel.
Where is the Minchas Shlomo?
