Potatoes cut with dairy knife that was used to cut onions; boiled in parve pot

Question:

I cut onions with a dairy knife, and then cut potatoes, and then put the potatoes to boil in a parve pot. What is the status of the pot? Is it still parve? Thanks

Answer:

The pot is still pareve. I am assuming that there is 60 times the blade of the knife in the potatoes and water that it was cooked in, therefore any milchig is botil. If this is not the case let me know.
