A person booked a trip for Passover 2020 that was canceled due to travel restrictions. This person has a credit with the company that helped book the travel arrangements. May the person instead of using the credit for additional travel, ask the travel company to issue the exact balance to a Torah institution? Would this violate any Halacha like ribbis ? (the balance has remained the same since 2020 with no increase on the part of what the consumer is due back…) Thank you

It is not ribbis because the company didn’t give you anything extra because they kept your money for so long. If you would like to give that money to tzedakah you may.
