Wife’s pruzbul on money that was lent before she got married

Question:

Thank you for the response!
One clarification about a wife׳s pruzbul: even if she lended out the money before our marriage, the chov itself is considered nochsei milug as well and included in husband’s pruzbul?

Answer:

If the money was lent out before the woman was married, then it is not included in the husband’s pruzbul. The reason is since the wife lent the money out before the husband had any claim on it, he does not have the right to claim the money from the one who borrowed it. Since he can’t claim the money he can’t make a pruzbul on it. The wife, however, can make the husband a messanger to make a pruzbul for her, or he can write it into the pruzbul that he is writing.

Best wishes
