Does one make a bracha of “oseh ma’aseh breishis” on seeing a geyser ?

You are asking an interesting question. I asked R Stitzberg (author of Sharei Habracha) your question, and he said that we would not make “oseh maaseh breishis”. The reason is that the Shulchan Aruch says regarding seeing rivers, that we can only make the bracha if we see the river in a place that it wasn’t rerouted, and therefore it is the exact way it was at “maaseh breishis”, however if it was changed, we wouldn’t say the bracha. It is very possible that it is the same with a geyser. This hole most probably was not there during creation. Even if it was, however since it is questionable, we wouldn’t say the bracha.
Although we don’t say the bracha on the geyser, we can think it, and be impressed by the wonders of Hashem’s world.
