Is it ok to offer a lower price on a set of arba-minim if it is pre reserved and paid for? I.e. On the sign it says pre order by transferring money by a certain date and pick it up at the sale and receive it cheaper and guarantee there will be one there for you rather than simply coming in and purchasing it at the sale.

In general, one is not allowed to advertise a cheaper price for early payment, as it appears that the cheaper price is because the person gave the seller a loan. This is a form of ribbis d’rabonon. There are however one of two conditions which might make it permissible. If the seller already has the merchandise in his possession, he can give it right away to the buyer. Alternatively, if it is clear that the seller is not giving the cheaper price because of the loan. For example, if the seller would give the cheaper price for people that would give him a post-dated check for the date of the sale, then it is clear that the cheaper price is not in order for the seller to use the money earlier. However, if we don’t have any of these two conditions, advertising such a deal would be problematic.
